LIFE
SAVING RESOURCES INCORPORATED, IN DUBLIN N.H., TESTS AEROLIFE
PRODUCTS DURING SIMULATED ICE WATER RESCUE
DUBLIN,
N.H.– (March 29, 2006) – AeroLife Wearable Illumination
continues to be rigorously tested in the most extreme conditions.
LifeSaving
Resources Incorporated, in Dublin New Hampshire, put our products
to the test during a simulated Ice Water Rescue operation,
and AeroLife was up to the challenge. AeroLife's Beacon™
Helmet Lamps are attached at the highest point on one's
body, allowing them to remain above the surface of the ice
even when an emergency responder enters to perform a rescue.
This allows rescuers to maintain visible contact with their
partners on land. Even though the test was during daylight
hours, our products withstood icy waters and frigid temperatures.
In fact,
just weeks after these tests, our Beacon™
Helmet Lamps proved critical in an actual night-time cold
water rescue mission, allowing the rescuers to remain visible
to their on-shore support.
".
. . once the rescuer personnel were about 50 yards from shore,
our lights no longer had any effect on the reflective material,
so they could not be seen. However, your products were clearly
seen and provided the only means by which to locate and identify
our personnel" stated Gerald M. Dworkin, Consultant,
Aquatics Safety and Water Rescue
